Jorge Masvidal is stepping up to take a title and is ready to fight!

Fight Island


The UFC announced on Tuesday that it has scheduled four events on Yas Island or also know as Fight Island. Yas Island is a man-made island reachable by car from the mainland in Abu Dhabi. It is a massive tourist destination with a water park, a Warner Brothers amusement park, golf courses, resort hotels & beaches. The big UFC event, 251 pay-per-view on July 11, featuring three title fights Will be shown at The Ref Sports Bar in Spokane Valley. There will be a $5 cover charge at the door.



Kamaru Usman


With a 16-1 record and winning 50% of his fights by decision, Kamaru Usman has been averaging 4.60 strikes per minute and he has won the last 15 fights. 3.44 takedowns on average, Usman is coming off a highly impressive performance at UFC 245 that has earned fight of the night honors. He is more than just a grappler or a wrestler, he has landed 175 total strikes and fought with a highly skilled stand up striker with know for his power. Usman is a takedown machine!


Jorge Masvidal


Nicknamed Gamebred Jorge is ready to fight and he is hungry to take the title from not only from Usman, but from anyone who has a title. Watch the video below and get ready for one awesome fight this weekend! With a 48-13 record and winning 33.3% of his fights by knock out Masvidal will come out swinging and try to layout Kamaru. Trained in boxing and kick boxing, Jorge will be a great fighter to watch.

With a 19-3 record, Burns has won 42% of his fights by submission & has won his last six fights! Burns is averaging 3.15 strikes per minute with an accuracy percentage of 46 percent. He has earned performance of the night honors in back-to-back fights! He has a decorated grappling background with plenty of experience in wrestling, plus he is a second degree black belt in BJJ. he has really turned some heads his last two fights and we expect to see great things this July 11th.
